Welcome to this episode of Mortgage Motivation advice you can use in life. Springtime is here and we have so many wonderful events going out throughout Acadiana. Today I have with me Ms Renee Matamoros right, correct, I love saying that that's such a fun place to visit as well though you know your name has something to stand by but she is in charge of the upcoming the marketing director for the upcoming spring market that's going to be held in Corette Farms in Pointe du Mouton. What a beautiful little community. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to work with Manual Builders and some of the homes that they built there, and it's such a great little place to live. But the event is when the event is April 13th.
Speaker 2:It goes from 9 am to 3 pm and it's at the historic Corete Farmhouse and, manuel, you mentioned them, are building a lot right outside that area.
Speaker 1:Okay, awesome. So tell us about the event and what can everyone expect when they go to visit the Spring Market.
Speaker 2:Perfect. So we have music throughout the day, little acoustic sets, we have about a hundred vendors that are selling gifts for Mother's Day, graduations, and we have food trucks out there, face painting balloons.
Speaker 1:We have a lot of stuff for the kids, so you just have a mini festival going on Pretty much.
Speaker 2:Yes, we do a Christmas version. This is our first spring, but the Christmas one brought out about 2,500 people throughout the day and it was just gorgeous and an amazing day.
Speaker 1:So it's a one-day event. It's on April 13th. It starts at what time? 9 am and it's in the beautiful Corette Farms in Cairn Crow it's yes, it's almost in Cairn Crow.
Speaker 2:This one is considered Upper Lafayette, right off of Pont de Mouton Road.
Speaker 1:Okay, so you have an address for a reference point.
Speaker 2:If you put in 300 Flores Court, that'll get you right in front of the historic farmhouse.
Speaker 1:Awesome, Awesome. So once again, April 13th, Spring Market, over 100 vendors, music all day, fun things for the kids to do. Please join us. It's going to be a wonderful event and the event benefits.
