Speaker 1:

Welcome to this episode of Mortgage Motivation advice you can use in life. Today I'm super excited to have a great friend, a dive friend. Okay, yes, I bet Jackson didn't know that she's one of our dive friends. I love to dive yeah, one of my scuba friends. But she also is not only a great friend, but she is an agent with my neighbor. We're next-door neighbors at Real Brokerage. So congratulations on the move and everything y'all done.

Speaker 2:

It's been absolutely fantastic. It's been exciting. Yeah, and the growth is incredible.

Speaker 1:

That's unbelievable. Yeah, their growth is so much that they kicked me out of my own building and my husband and I have a partnership.

Speaker 2:

We took over Mimi's office space, so it has really good vibes in there.

Speaker 1:

So if it gives you half of the success it gave me, then congratulations, cause I sure can tell you what two things happened. I worked really hard in there and I surely prayed a lot in that office.

Speaker 2:

So that is, that is wonderful. The good chi in there is just going to rub off and continue on, I feel.

Speaker 1:

Well, I'm glad to be your neighbor, I'm glad to be your friend and I'm super excited to partner with you and Keith Kishbaugh in this new development, the up and coming part of Lafayette, in Cairn Crow. It is thrilling.

Speaker 2:

It is thrilling. We're in right on that cusp of the upper Lafayette Cairn Crow line and we have so, fortunately. It's about 10 minutes from downtown Scott. It's five minutes from downtown Cairn Crow and Lafayette. This, like downtown Lafayette, might be 10 minutes as well. We're close to the I-49,. I-10 corridor, easy, easy access, and yet, at the same time, it is still out and you're breathing country air and you don't have light pollution. You can see all the stars.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's light, it's very peaceful, that's one thing. And I love the name St Catherine, and I think Keith named it after his maybe his grandmother, his mother.

Speaker 2:

He actually named it after his mom His mom.

Speaker 1:

I wasn't sure I knew it had a story and he often tells me stories about how faithful the grandmother and the mother is. I just love hearing those stories from him. But Save Catherine, up and coming new development and we want to invite all of you to come out and experience yourself, because we're going to have a ribbon cutting. We're going to invite the general public to come out. We're going to have some fun. We're going to have things for the kids to do. We're going to have things for the adult. Just to come out.

Speaker 2:

we're going to have things for the adult, just to come out, we're going to break ground.

Speaker 1:

We're going to have a great saxophone player. I know A little jazzy, we will Awesome.

Speaker 2:

We're going to have some really good food, a couple of vendors coming out on the 11th of April, from 3 to 5. And the weather should be beautiful right, oh, I can't wait. Hopefully some of our grass will be growing.

Speaker 2:

It'll be spring greeny out there but we have a beautiful pond too, with a full walking path around it, and in fact last week they laid another portion of that walking path. So, Keith, always he's wonderful and I get tons of videos from him when he gets excited, and he has been. I've gotten a lot because he's been very excited about this project and his mom's maiden name was Marafito and he named the main street in this lovely development Marafito Lane. So we're going to have it over two of the lots. We'll be positioned with our tent out there and that's where we'll have it right in front of the pond, out there.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. So everyone is invited agents, public builders, anyone and everyone. You're more than welcome to come out on an April 11th and what time will the event be? Three to five At three o'clock, to enjoy food, music, peace, serenity and see a little bit about St Catherine. And you'll also have the opportunity to meet Keith the builder at that time. So tell me a little bit about Keith and Kishbaugh Construction and your representation with him.

Speaker 2:

So Keith has been in the business for over 45 years, both commercial and residential. I met him about five years ago on a house he was renovating. I'd happened to be the listing agent of it. The buyer hired him to come and add square footage and completely renovate this beautiful old A Haystown home and I would walk my dog in front of the house regularly when he was there and we just got to know each other and slowly we had a really comfortable relationship and I met his number one employee, who is Amy Reed, and she kind of runs the whole office and designs for any new construction or her services are there for additional projects.

Speaker 1:

Stuff that's remodeled. She can help design that. Anything you need Keith's right-hand gal. Absolutely she's great. Keith's right-hand gal Absolutely she's great. I want to thank you for introducing me to those two, because they have really influenced my life in more than one way and they're very special. Keith always, you know, welcomes me, makes me feel at home. Amy's such a special friend and without you I wouldn't have the connection to them, and I just want to say thank you for that.

Speaker 2:

Well, mimi, thank you. I'm always in awe every time I get to be in your presence and Keith has such an affinity for you. He's a great, grounded, very nice individual, very approachable and very fair. Yeah, I've worked with him, like now, for five years. So on the projects that I've had the pleasure of working, that he's gone to and renovated, or just working with the buyers if something is not completely to their standard satisfaction, he returns. And he returns two and three times if he has to, just to make that person happy.

Speaker 1:

He's definitely the builder that delivers, so he will have a few specs in that. They're planning on building in saint catherine that you can just walk in and buy if you don't want to go through the custom process and work with Miss Amy and make those decisions. They will have a beautiful product that you can purchase. But they also have availability where you can pick your lot and pick your plan, meaning you can design your own house. They're going to walk you through that process with the architect on that lot in St Catherine and Keith can custom build a home for your needs.

Speaker 2:

He absolutely can, and there are different size lots, so they range from about one-third of an acre to a little over half an acre and that dictates the size of the home. The first spec home that we have right now is going up. They have it framed out over there already. So actually on the 11th we're going gonna be able to walk through it and feel it. We're gonna see the progression of it. Most definitely, they're about to put the driveway through and the address on that one is 515 brothers road because it has two entrances, so that entrance for the first spec home is off of brothers road. Keith has constructed this incredibly huge stucco and brick wall. That is the width of the development and it's beautiful. It's 10 feet high, so we have some safety.

Speaker 1:

there as well, we have safety. It's going to be a gated community, even though it's a very safe area.

Speaker 2:

it's still going to be gated. It's a private gated area.

Speaker 1:

There are only 13 lots that are available for this one. So act fast. If you're interested in the up and coming of Lafayette, call Christy today. Right, please?

Speaker 2:

do? We get calls on it every day. There's a lot of curiosity as it's improving. Every day something new is happening and we have a lot of interest in it. That growth seems to be expanding and going up into that area north of I-10, like when we started I I said you can breathe when you go up there. They have beautiful, larger lots.

Speaker 1:

So, basically, if you want access to the city but the luxury and the peacefulness and the serenity of the country, St Catherine is where you want to be.

Speaker 2:

It's actually perfect. We have incredible school systems, both public, private and parochial, that are available to buyers out in this general area and with the commercial developments that have come up along I-49, it's exciting. Yeah, yeah Well again.

Speaker 1:

Let's save that date. We want you to join us on April 11th. I will be there, christy, you'll get to meet Keith, you'll get to meet Amy and the Instar Kids Boss staff and we're super excited There'll be things for the kids. It's going to be a family event. Please make sure, come out, bring your kids, grab a bite or make a visit on your own. It's from 3 to 5 on April 11th at St Catherine. Do we have an address on one of them?

Speaker 2:

so that yeah 100 Marafita Lane, 101 Marafita Lane and 117 Marafita Lane, along with 515 Brothers, are all on MLS right now and I encourage people. We haven't put the gates up so people can take drives out Into it right now.

Speaker 2:

Yes, some of the trees have been put up. He has lined the streets with these beautiful oak trees and he has beautiful landscaping across the front of the great big wall for St Catharines, but also along the streets. He's added we have beautiful street lights and it's a Marafita Lane is it's a cul-de-sac, so please come on over, take a walk and come see the progression.

Speaker 1:

Well, I can't wait to see it again. April 11th is that date. I ask you to please join Christy and myself. Also, you can follow both of our social media pages. Our real social media page. We're going to have more information about the event. If you're an existing client or if you're a borrower, we're going to be e-blasting it through our CRM. But please join us on the 11th for the ribbon cutting and the groundbreaking of St Catherine. Owner Keith Kishba Kishba Construction. Thank you for joining me.

Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you Mimi.

Speaker 1:

It's always my pleasure and thank you for being my friend and let's go dive.

Speaker 2:

Let's go dive, absolutely. Let's do another one. We'll do a dive show next. We can do that.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, christy. Okay, have a beautiful day and listen, if not just for St Catherine. Christy and Mork are wonderful real estate agents. With Real, not only do they cover residential, they do cover commercial also.

Speaker 2:

We do.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 2:
